A Woman’s Place is in the Struggle

A seated figure fills the foreground, blue-painted face and dark afro set off by a yellow headband, holding a white placard reading 'A WOMAN’S PLACE IS IN THE STRUGGLE.' Behind, a red-brick wall is crowded with silhouetted protesters and hand-lettered signs — 'MY BODY MY CHOICE', 'No Means NO' — in bold black, white and blue. The graphic forms, stark contrasts and visible brushwork lend the scene an urgent communal energy. Vincent Keele created this in celebration of International Women’s Day; its direct typography and color focus attention on solidarity, recognition and shared resolve.
