Wil Moore
Wil Moore is a self-taught artist from Detroit, Michigan, who later earned a degree in Computer Graphic Design and Fine Art. His inspiration to create came at an early age from his father, Wil Moore, Sr. Serving in the armed forces afforded Wil the opportunity to travel and see many countries. As you view his work, much of his subject matter stems from the people and places he saw during his travels. The art of Wil Moore has been exhibited throughout the U.S. and abroad in Houston, TX, Hampton, VA, Tampa, FL, and Thurso, Scotland, just to name a few. Wil has received numerous awards, including 1st Place in the Jacksonville Agricultural Fair, the Detroit Urban Art League 1st Place Award, and Best of Show in the St. Petersburg Veterans Art Competition. The art of Wil Moore is in the collections of Florida Governor, Charlie Crist, the Kingswood Community College in Kingswood, TX, and St. Petersburg College, St. Petersburg, FL. Wil currently resides in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
