Established in 1989 by Walter Shannon, E&S Gallery, Inc is owned and operated by Shannon and his wife Cathy. Based in Louisville, KY, E&S is a full service art and custom-framing gallery, specializing in original art by today’s best-selling contemporary artists, as well as fine art prints and sculpture by African American Old Master artists from the Harlem Renaissance era. In 2003, E&S Gallery purchased and renovated an historic building in downtown Louisville into a 10,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility, art gallery, and corporate headquarters. The 2004 grand opening and Art Gala featured artists from around the country including Charles Bibbs of Moreno Valley, CA, Alice Gatewood Waddell of Bowling Green, KY, and Jerry & Terry Lynn (Twin) of Memphis, TN, just to name a few.
